I love all things small, intimate, and cozy- especially elopements & microweddings.
Imagine this. Instead of going the traditional route, you spend the day with your partner. You get up, drink your coffee together, write your vows together, & get ready together. You spend the morning laughing and making memories with your favorite person.
I love the idea of investing in each other and your marriage. Doing it small and making it your day.
I wanted to do a shoot to show how I put together a small elopement- on a budget but still was a stunning and memorable.
These two started off in the treehouse at Juniper Gardens in Fair Grove, MO. It's a perfect intimate setting. It offers a lofted bedroom, a small kitchenette and a couple mirrors to get ready. They were able to hang out, laugh, write vows, & get ready together. To keep it small and simple- the dress was purchased through Facebook Marketplace, the suit was reused from a previous wedding, and the vow books & hair bow were purchased on Amazon.
From there, we moved to the Fieldstone area. We did small bud vases with flowers from The Stemmery in Hollister, MO for the decor that we moved to the head table to simply decorate the head table.
The head table decor and cake were designed by Vintage Rental Company & Charity Fent Cake Design in Springfield, MO. Both did both stunning and small designs that are perfect for a small elopement.
One of my favorite things about Juniper Gardens is the emphasis & use of the outdoor space. They have the loveliest field behind the Fieldstone ceremony area as well games, firepit and pavilion with tables and chairs.
To keep it a small, intimate and budget friendly I used just a few vendors for the special details.

Keeping it small and simple is a great way to keep the focus on what you feel like is important on one of the biggest and greatest days of your life.
